Wow, those look really good! We always bake ours because my mom hates to deep fry things…but they’re so much tastier when fried!

Nicely presented falafels. They look great!

Wow, Dimah, these look great! I have only made falafels from boxed falafel mix that I have bought here; I can’t wait to try and make them from scratch. Do you make tahini from scratch, too, or do you buy it premade?

    Linda :-D

    Linda: Thanks for stopping by!
I buy premade tahini and I make tahini sauce using it, so if you want to make the sauce with falafel, so these are the approx measurements:

    Tahini Sauce:
1 tbsp tahini (Actually I buy a Syrian brand).
    1 cup yogurt
Juice of 1 lemon (I prefer to add juice of 1/2 lemon, then taste and decide if you want to add more).
    Pinch of salt.

Linda, is it possible to find Falafel spices in middle eastern markets in U.S? if not possible, so here what to add to the recipe instead of the spices:
    2 tsp dried coriander
2 tsp cumin (this is additional to the 1 tsp cumin in the recipe).

If you have any question, it is my pleasure to help you :) and I hope you enjoy making falafel at home!
    Keep in touch!

Your felafel look incredibly tasty! Love that tool you used. I normally just hand-roll the mixture into balls.
